In this context, in the previous days we will highlight one of the videos clips that achieved thousands of views on the X platform and was widely circulated. This video claims to document the process of disposing of aid intended for the Gaza Strip, in a waste dump on the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing, after it expires.

The video in question is not recent and has no connection to the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.

The video was published on November 16, 2016.

While verifying the authenticity of the video through the reverse image search method, the results uncovered that the footage originates from November 16, 2016, when it was shared by the official account of the Qassim Province Municipality on the X platform (formerly Twitter).

According to the mentioned source, the video shows the disposal of 25 trucks loaded with unfit-for-consumption chickens in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The video was also posted on a YouTube channel on November 16, 2016, under the title “Qassim Municipality Disposes of (25) Trucks Loaded with Spoiled Chickens.

In addition, the same news was circulated at that time on local Arabic-language media outlets.

Given the recent developments, there has been a conspicuous rise in the dissemination of deceptive information and false news concerning the war that began in the Gaza Strip since October of last year.
